When: 5:30 pm 'til you go home on July 14th
Where: Ron and Marty Wellington's Directions are below
What: This is a chance for anyone who's in Manhattan over the summer to hang out, especially those from the international community. I'm guessing that Manhattan can be a boring place for many over the summer. This is one opportunity to not be bored. This cook out is hosted mostly by my small group from New Hope Church and some other friends. We'll pray before we eat. If you're unsure about what Bastille Day is go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bastille_day
What to bring: Please bring your own meat to grill and a side dish to share with everyone. If you'd like to bring French food that is great but not necessary. Drinks will be provided.
Rides: Contact Ben Deaver at bendeaver@gmail.com or 785.341.9863 and leave your name, phone number, e-mail, and where you live.
Take Highway 177 like you are going out of town (towards I-70). Look for the Bayer Construction Sign on the left. Take a LEFT onto Deep Creek Road and curve around, staying on the asphalt.
Stay on the asphalt, curving to the right...
Keep goin' and then finally near the limestone school house (on the right), the road will turn to gravel. We're about a 1/2 mile from the school house (the second driveway on the right after the school house). We have 30-acre field in front of our house along the road (now planted in wheat so it's green). We have a white beat-up, powercat mail box.
Number at home is 587-0909 if you get lost.
